Arnot Family Objectives
Written by T's grandfather Boo Arnot
Be a believer
At home, at work, at school
Be honest
Be truthful
Dependable, hard-working...with other people
Be cheerful, friendly, kind, helpful
Listen, speak with friend and family
Be loving
Respect, understand be loyal
These versus can work for you
These versus will work for me
Walkin' through the field, just glancing toward the open sky. Happen to yield for awhile
Here the fog stopped to surround him. Trying to somehow bring him down. Time had escaped it was left beneath the hollow tree. Lying beside in the rut. Spoke to the silence. A pause to listen in.
Tales of wind on the fire
Approach in the distance, carried before him
Too far and desperately near. on toward the land, of love where the eagle fly. Beyond the mountain in his eye.
Although the journey had stalled he had managed to understand. There is nothing to gain without pain. So onward he traveled just marching 'neath the hanging vines. The night played a song by his side.
In the corner where he lay down, a pillow made of golden sound
Woke to feel it fall beneath and tried pullin' up the silver sheets
But when he couldn't rise again escape to let it trickle in
Flowin' down over ground in a spin wrapped it with a sin
Hangin' by open thread cut and fell over again
When you stopped and turned your back on love and walked further away from where its from
But when the fog came crashing town, echoed loud from town to town
Passed through many new mistakes that were no longer true
And rain won't you come fallin' down, wash away the mournful sound
Love won't you come out and dance, you've been hidin' for too long.
A wave that can no longer clear, see your face and hold it near
but the waters fell as we rushed by taken through a broken cry
Sounded loud in a crowd found yourself lonely again
Pick it up carry on further along you spin
Put your weight across the frozen line written straight fading fine
Holdin' onto something strong, grippin' tired til proven wrong.
Satisfied but yearning still, find the time to climb the hill
Over ledge under sky climbing as time passes by
Rested when you were fed found yourself floatin' again
(Chorus x2)
